I was just curious what kind of improvements a soon to be 11th grade girl can make with the follow type of training this Summer. She is coming off a stress reaction in her leg where she lost most of her outdoor season, and didn't run for 6 weeks. She is starting back running on Monday, and she has been Aqua jogging for 3 weeks now. The goal is to cross train all Summer, 6 days a week of aqua jogging and 4 to 5 days a week of running. She started doing strength and agility training once or twice a week last October, so I know that she is much stronger than she was last year @ this time. Her best on our state course, which is pretty tough was 23 minutes even. Any thoughts on the program or possible improvement.
