Aman looked kinda heavy

Last lap in the 800m was 1 only a second faster than Jeilan's last lap in the 5k.
Not really. They were well behind the pacer after 1 lap so their 2nd was probably 52-53.
He NEVER runs well in the cold/rain. NeverLots of time before the Olympics....

Rudisha weel beaten once again! it's not looking good for Rio!

I thought the same thing.
Rudisha was 1st behind Som at the bell in 52.1. Som was 50.8
So a 1:45.X means a 53.X bell lap for Rudisha and faster for those that beat him.
Not really, he was allegedly supposed to do 49.5 but came through at 50.82
And for the record Kszczot is just pronounced "k'shot"

Shouldn't have moved to Oregon...
Aman's running career is 'k-shot'.

Ferguson Rotich again. When will people start taking him seriously?
I first really noticed him at World Relays last year when the U.S beat the Kenyan DMR with Rotich on it and a lot of Kenyan partisans said "well, he's just a B teamer."
Then I noticed he had a good Diamond League season and was in contention for a medal at Worlds.
After seeing Steph Garcia's time in the steeplechase, I give Mel Lawrence a solid shot at making the Olympic team. That would be an amazing comeback from years of injuries.

How do you prononce it?
Looks like a typo - I don't believe his name has any vowels in it. Kczcsztzccztcz is correct.
I have heard it pronounced like "shock".

Click the blue triangle on the map.
It sounds like Adam "walkie talkie noise-tah"
I'm telling you, if Mo Farah was in this particular 5k race, he would not have finished it better than Ibrahim's finish. Some of you might say 55 sec last lap doesn't scare Farah, but keep in mind Jeilan had out-kicked Farah with about 51 last lap before. It took 55 sec last lap for Jeilan to take down 5k specialists Kejelcha and Edris. And, remind me how fast Farah closed in his last lap to win at Pre 10k and/or Birmingham 3k this year.... 58/59?

Mo Farah beat himself in that 2011 race by putting too big of a gap in the first 200 of the lap and fading really hard. Jeilan's kick was great (not 51) but Farah probably could have won that race by doing just enough to stay ahead of Jeilan and saving more for the last 200. He hasn't made that mistake since.
With the braces, did she just come into the money to do that late in life, or is some HGH involved?

Mo is a good learner.
He also drags it out over the last 3 laps and almost turns it into a 1500 - which he is very good at. Takes the kick away from the real speed men.

No, watch the race again. Mo did not fade at the end. He kicked even faster the last 100....But Jeilan was just better than him, at least that day!

IIRC Jeilan actually has the fastest last 400 ever in a 10,000m with 52.8?
