I've seen quite a few people wear a compression calf sleeve on one leg only. I thought they were sold in pairs. Do they want everyone to know they are injured? Why not just wear both if you think they provide a benefit?

I've worn only one many times because I've had some calf issues on the right side. Why not two (even though I separately bought two individual sleeves)? Because I didn't want to look like I was wearing them to look cool. I honestly am not sure if the sleeve helped, but it provided some reassurance as I began running again after time off due to injury.
