How much would Nike or some shoes compost offer these two young men, I am curious to here the Gueses!

He only beat McBride because he bummed off the lead the whole way. He would fit right in at Nike where they all do that.
McBride's solo 1:44 is the really impressive performance.
"Here" the responses? Ugh.

"Compost?" That does describe many posts that read like yours.
Tell those punks to git themselves to NB, where all is wonderful all the time, and sign contracts with no reductions. No Gueses.
Troll. If not...idiot. You go run 1:43.55 under ANY circumstances.

Or do the smart thing and sign with Nike. Nike will pay way more. NB just proved they pay crap. You notice any hesitation for Nike to match their offer? If he'd held out or went directly to Nike, he could have got twice as much.
Every decent agent will start looking at more than Nike because of the reductions.
This is easy.
Nike: We will file to immediately drop the Berian lawsuit.
Judge: What changed your mind?
Nike: We have better things to do.
Judge: Case dismissed!
. . .
Nike: Clayton and Brazier, thank you both for meeting with us.
Nike: Please sign these contracts.
Clayton: This looks like the Berian contract I have heard so much about.
Brazier: Who's Berian?
Clayton: Some runner dude?
Brazier: Oh!
Nike: These are not the Berian contract. His name is not them. Your's are.
Clayton: That explains it. Okay, I'll sign.
Brazier: You will really pay $125k per year! Wow!!! Okay, I'll sign.
Nike: Welcome to Nike!
Clayton was offered by brooks this past summer fyi and he said no.
And you don't think he would be offered more now?
It is time for a new, up and coming brand to sign the top college and high school athletes. This way in 5-8 years, they will be the top team by far
125k for a contract is a complete joke. At best, a world class runner has 10 years running at the highest level of track & field, and even then they cannot compete as often because of the wear and tear of their respective events. Pro runners should be making 4 to 5 times that amount or at the very least own their own brand for their own corporate sponsorship. This is travesty for the sport and their athletes!
Wasn't wheating signed for over $500k a year when he came out.
Whichever of these two guys you like the best gets that from me. I'd go with brazier.
If Brazier gets offered more then 200k, I'm sure he will take it.

Not a chance Nike would offer that much more than they offered Berian. Brazier has to stay in school, which he doesn't seem to care for.

He probably wants to be good.

So, no chance he signs with someone like Nike.
Clayton could command $30-60k/year or much more if a company really wants him. Brazier is in the $150K+ range, up to $250K+ per year base.

How is he that much better than, let's say Berian? 2x better?
