He didn't look like he was jogging to me. He looked pretty much all-out.

Now we wait and see if he spent any time building his AEROBIC HOUSE which would allow him to be fully recovered for the final. He will also need tactics as well.

I'm not sure what "wrote him off" means, but I've never heard of him and I doubt that he's likely to trouble Rudisha, Amos, Aman etc. any time soon..
Wouldn't bet big money on that pal.

I watched it live.
I think it was worth a 1:44.75.
Shut it down last 10-20m. Impressive. He looked great. Very interested in that device he uses in his right hand, like a rubber-brass knuckle. Perhaps for balance and injury prevention?
Kid is a stud.
I think it was worth a 1:44.76 actually so you're wrong.
Impressive. He has a very 'easy' running style. Would caution against predictions based on this, though. I've seen too many guys appear to be jogging based on style, when they really weren't. Things look really promising for DB, though.

That is true. Rudisha could have broken 1:40 if he had just tried! ;).

It was suggested some months ago of his epic 1'45-solo indoors he should be capable of 1'42-high - 1'43-flat just in that shape
It was berated...
It came from a poster that no one takes seriously.
Rojo and calculo/ventolin/eldrick are two of the best posters here.

Donovan Brazier and Isaiah Harris will both be top 3
Almost!
So in the 800 this season:
1:43.55
1:45.76
1:46.53
1:46.92
1:46.96
... All freshmen!
The future of this event is bright.
no
Brazier has had injury issues since january, so his progress was stalled as evidenced by some poor clockings since his 1'45.9i
this 1'43.55 run appears to be off just some recent injury-free training, likely very similar to his january shape
