I think we should make 'Asher Delmott Day' an annual celebration.

The Skins logo is still on loads of his stuff, like on photos on his website.

I going to have a dinner party next year on 'Asher Delmott Day' and when the guests arrive, they will discover that I haven't actually cooked anything.
Surely you should serve them an excellent world class meal, garnering comments about what an excellent chef you are, before revealing it was take away that you picked up in an RV.
No surely the appropriate action once you've invited people to join you is to wait for them to knock on your door then drive away really fast for no reason.
We need to agree on the date of Asher Delmott day, ie when he tried to run with Rob and realised that it was all a hoax.
Is it June 6th?
http://www.runnersworld.com/ultrarunning/ultrarunner-pete-kostelnick-smashes-record-for-run-across-usUltrarunner Pete Kostelnick Smashes Record for Run Across U.S.
The 29-year-old averaged 72 miles per day during the 6-week, 3,067-mile eastward trek
Bugger, I'm going to have to hire an RV with more horse-power next time to beat that record.
So, is this thread now as dead as RY's trans-continental attempt?
I thought this thread might get a bit of a bump from Pete Kostelnick's trans-con, but I guess not. I have to say when I saw Pete's emotional finish it reminded me how glad I am that RY was so thoroughly discredited, thanks to letsrun and the ultra-list folks.
Here is a link to a nytimes article about the run, definitely a recommended read:
Finally, someone's gotta say it, we can't end this thread without a proper sendoff from Fake Laz.
Yes, it was very fortunate that RY was outed otherwise he could have set a 'record' which would have been extremely difficult to beat by a human genuinely running. If he'd continued those 80 mile days in the RV unchecked, he would have finished about 6 days quicker than Pete Kostelnick.
It was nice to watch the live feed of Pete finishing - there were about 1700 of us watching on Facebook at the end.

Que?
SKINS is still all over his sites:
http://www.marathonmanuk.co.uk/
https://twitter.com/marathonman_uk
("Extreme Endurance Runner. Ambassador for @DCT_Charity. Sponsored by @SkinsGB"
FB too probably, but I don't have access.
I guess SKINS doesn't mind being associated with a cheat, or they'd ask him to remove their trademarks.
Also claiming to be part of Dreams Come True charity, but it looks like they've scrubbed him from their site:

Yes, all still saying Skins.
His race list is empty now. He never did the treadmill record that was listed.
Next race listed now is full Spine, for jan 2017.
You cant enter that late, so maybe he's already entered? Very expensive race that requires a lot of fancy expensive winter kit, so if he IS planing on doing it he'll have to get his shit together, quick or that race will kill him - literally

Stick a fork in him, he's done.
There may not be a lot of posts to this thread, but I'm sure I'm not the only one keeping tabs on him with Google Alert. If he tries anything that has an online presence, then the hounds will be on his trail.
