Please get your facts right.
I'm not married to Dustin Brooks. I never witness any of Rob's Young runs.
I was not involved in Rob's trip or run in America.
This is my first and last post on Lets Run.
The guardian article is pretty crap. Why focus on internet bullies? They make him into a victim. RY deserves no sympathy. There's even a line about him not hurting anyone but himself - what about his family, what about the current record holder for the run he cheated at to try and beat?
I know the author of the original article had prepared a follow-up story, so I don't know why this other guy is on the story they published. Maybe her editor had a different spin they wanted to go with?

This is why I challenged Tucker on Twitter over the embargo. He is vehemently against Spin by Team Sky in cycling, yet he has allowed Skins to spin this story completely.

Outside was crap too:
https://www.outsideonline.com/2120811/did-ultramarathoner-rob-young-cheat-verdict"Young cooperated fully with the investigation"
I told the author:
"If you read the report, you'll see that Rob Young:
-factory reset his watches and deleted the data on them
-deleted runs from his TomTom account
-refused a request to supply his laptop which would have had backup TomTom files on it
-lied in his interview
I'd hardly say he "fully cooperated"."
Still no correction...
Very true. You can add
- deleted Photos from his FB account (TomTom Screenshots)
- refused to provide any plausible explanation.
I guess Rob will now go to google and request the 'right to be forgotten' so that all of the evidence and reports citing him as a cheat do not show up in his results. This has been successfully done before under EU law.
However, he is finished on the running scene now and who knows where he will likely venture next.
It's a strange situation. So far, the media reports after he was found to be cheating seem to be less critical than the ones from when the allegations were first made. Now they have proof RY cheated, and they go easy on him? Makes zero sense.

There are already pages removed from the search results, according to Google.
From Dustin on MarathonManUk facebook:
I find this all very baffling. I was with Rob for the entire run and witnessed no cheating whatsoever. On the contrary our journey was undertaken in a spirit of peace and honesty and straightforwardedness. I still wholeheartedly believe in Rob's innocence and look forward to seeing him prove these data findings to be erroneous, by running similarly impressive times and distances in the future, under greater observation and with more reliable data recording technology.

Dustin try to pass the buck by blaming the data recording technology. There was nothing wrong with the watches they used. In fact they were very reliable because they showed they were in a van and not on a runner. This is because they were, in fact, in a van. Inconvenient for Rob and Dusty. Nonetheless there seem to be plenty of gullible numpties on Facebook who still believe Rob even when the evidence is staring them in the face. I can only assume that they haven't read the report or that they have but they are unable to understand it.

These two Shysters are quite a team. Dustin writes a fictional book with nothing but lies about Robbie and now he is completely baffled by all this???
The world is full of con men and we can't change that. We can only hope that these two con men have lost their method of swindling people out of charity money with lies and deception. That is the best that can come out of this. Like most other cheaters before them, don't expect them to ever come clean for the sake of honesty and integrity. They are wired to lie.

What an absolute prat.
What is so difficult about simply admitting guilt? All this postmodern bullcrap about different truths and opinions is really grinding my gears.
Dusty Dustin has spoken on RY facebook page.
Interesting book review on Amazon from yesterday
1.0 out of 5 stars A very very odd guy who just doesn't ring true.
By E. Weak on 2 Oct. 2016
Format: Hardcover
Absolute fantasist. - very very odd guy, up to eyes in debt and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the charity money didn't reach the charity. He definitely has issues, and I suspect the main one is being unable to tell the truth. Owes money left right and centre and sponges off people. Seems to have complete disregard for putting a roof over his family's head. He told one of my friends he used to be in MI5.... course you did Rob!?!?
Michael will break at some point, he is distancing himself already. An offer of some cash and he will spill his guts. Dustin is as bad as Rob, just wants to make money from a book.
Keep up the pressure to ensure sponsors won't touch him.

My response to Bustin Drooks comment on Facebook:
"Ah yes. Damn that unreliable data recording technology! Those TomTom watches showed that Rob was riding in a van when he was, in fact, riding in a van... Oh wait.... Sounds pretty reliable to me. I suggest that in the future if you want the watches to show that Rob is running, that you actually get him to run. You're welcome."
