The guardian article is pretty crap. Why focus on internet bullies? They make him into a victim. RY deserves no sympathy. There's even a line about him not hurting anyone but himself - what about his family, what about the current record holder for the run he cheated at to try and beat?
I know the author of the original article had prepared a follow-up story, so I don't know why this other guy is on the story they published. Maybe her editor had a different spin they wanted to go with?
Very true. You can add

"Young cooperated fully with the investigation"
I told the author:
"If you read the report, you'll see that Rob Young:
-factory reset his watches and deleted the data on them
-deleted runs from his TomTom account
-refused a request to supply his laptop which would have had backup TomTom files on it
-lied in his interview
I'd hardly say he "fully cooperated"."
Still no correction...
It's a strange situation. So far, the media reports after he was found to be cheating seem to be less critical than the ones from when the allegations were first made. Now they have proof RY cheated, and they go easy on him? Makes zero sense.

There are already pages removed from the search results, according to Google.

I guess Rob will now go to google and request the 'right to be forgotten' so that all of the evidence and reports citing him as a cheat do not show up in his results. This has been successfully done before under EU law.
However, he is finished on the running scene now and who knows where he will likely venture next.
Dustin try to pass the buck by blaming the data recording technology. There was nothing wrong with the watches they used. In fact they were very reliable because they showed they were in a van and not on a runner. This is because they were, in fact, in a van. Inconvenient for Rob and Dusty. Nonetheless there seem to be plenty of gullible numpties on Facebook who still believe Rob even when the evidence is staring them in the face. I can only assume that they haven't read the report or that they have but they are unable to understand it.

I find this all very baffling. I was with Rob for the entire run and witnessed no cheating whatsoever. On the contrary our journey was undertaken in a spirit of peace and honesty and straightforwardedness. I still wholeheartedly believe in Rob's innocence and look forward to seeing him prove these data findings to be erroneous, by running similarly impressive times and distances in the future, under greater observation and with more reliable data recording technology.
And for anyone else new here, "SmartRunnr" is always a twat.

You must be new here. Don't get upset, that dude is always like that.
These two Shysters are quite a team. Dustin writes a fictional book with nothing but lies about Robbie and now he is completely baffled by all this???
