Yes, but he just deletes comments now. He left a lot up before, but he or his cronies remove anything negative now.
STILL we havent convinced his fans.
What is the best summary of evidence you've seen. If we all constantly post this, his fans might eventually see it.
Though he tends to block people too. But creating a new facebook profile doesnt take long. :)))))

I didn't phrase my post well. I know a couple of ultra-runners who do the "as far as you can in one day" kind of ultra, and some who do the "many-multi-day event" kinds of ultra. I have neither the stamina, fitness nor experience to do EITHER kind, but I have it on a bucket list to do one day.
The guys I know who do the first kind run - the whole way. The guys i know who do the second time always seem to employ a walk/run strategy - carefully considered, rather than just "because they're too tired to run". So, in my mind, if I ever get as far as this hypothetical ultra, I expect to do a walk-run strategy. Which means I need to re-align my own (current) perception that only long runs I can do in one hit 'count', because I would expect to take breaks, and use a walk-run strategy.
Clear? No offence intended to ANY ultra-runners (one notable exception, our eponymous hero of this thread) as what you do is far beyond anything I could achieve at present, or have ever done in the past.

Not the way it works. You don't need a signal to sync your watch to your phone or computer (whichever you're using). After its synced, there is room on the watch for new data. When you have a signal you can have the phone/computer upload it to TomTom's servers.
So the cadence should be on the TomTom account, unless he deleted that too, which in any legal case would be obstruction of justice.
Did his strava uploads come directly from the TomTom watch or the TomTom account?

He stripped it of cadence, and looks to be now lying he deleted all raw data off watch to "make room for new data" which of course is complete bollocks

Yes, but there is still no absolute definitive proof to show his fans. Showing them the impossible data means nothing to them. Just because WE know (and you Markus were about the first to out him as cheating) we still need absolute proof to give to those that pay into his gofundme account.
Will that come after the full investigation? Well if all original data has been deleted off his TomTom watch, then maybe not
Well, you can't fix stupid.

The point is the thread is not locked, so you COULD comment. Do people on here not have facebook accounts? I think you lot need to invade this stupid group and post. I mean post your great investigations, not simply wind them up! (oh go on, wind them up a bit. The self appointed running gods in there need a taste of their own medicine)

RY makes a long post in it
https://www.facebook.com/groups/259647654139161/permalink/707124482724807/Note in the same group that someone supporting and congratulating RY was called "autistic" for asking if it was a world record.
This is from the same group whose admin claimed that LR is full of people hurtling personal insults which doesn't happen on their site...
Clearly a fake facebook profile with fake photo. Who do you reckon it is? He posts endlessly defending RY, but almost seems like a characature of a RY fan with some of the stuff he comes out with. Maybe michael from Skins?
Incidentally, he has sent ME unsolicited messages!
Phil Turner
This will prove Rob's innocence without any doubt. I crewed Rob on his 373 miles record, so I already knew he is innocent.
Letsrun trolls: do NOT send me unsolicited messages.

I initially reported him to FB as a fake profile, but he passed their examination... His posts are so pro RY and lame I'm beginning to think he might be anti RY in reality!

http://www.runultra.co.uk/Articles/July-2016/Rob-Young-Interview-Questions-on-the-Controversy-F#sthash.7CIq6P7Q.dpufDoing interviews like this makes him look even MORE stupid, because eventually the truth will come out.
Though i guess the investigation may never fully out him as a cheat as he's deliberately deleted so much raw data off his watch.
He called out Mark Vaz as a cheat and demanded to know where his data was - then heads off on a world record attempt and, er, deletes all his data (after removing cadence data from whatever he DID upload)
As I understand it the original data is on the tom tom servers. But does Jaimie's investigation team have access to that original data?
Going by Rob's interview dated 8 July, he's still intent on clearing his name and continuing with his charity ventures (and another attempt on the transcon USA record!). If the investigation team come up with an indeterminate finding (not enough conclusive data) it will be interesting to see if Skins continue their sponsorship of Rob or quietly back out. Thanks to this controversy Rob is more famous than he ever was (I'd never heard of him before this) so shouldn't have trouble attracting new sponsors for his charity raising ventures.

There is something odd in how he writes. Just like he's copying what the fans say and never replies properly.
Why would he do that though? And why message people saying leave rob alone and keep on sending links to his charities saying how much money he's raised?

You do realize that most of the "fan" comments are written be Dusty and Robbie, right?
I don't think that there's many legitimate (and clueless) "fans" out there.
Does the "Fake RY" Strava account have any runs that he deleted off of his own account? If so, can somebody list a few?
Also, what was the story with his wife's Strava account? Why do we only have screenshots? Or do we also have backups of some of those?

Sadly, there are plenty. Many real people still believe his crap. I'm in the uk and i know many people that believe him. Its quite easy to spot a fake profile created just to pretend to support him, and many real profiles still wont have a word said against him

Robert - first of all I want to congratulate you on your epic feat. Gutted that you have been sidelined due to injury, you were making incredible progress. I have never met you but am fortunate enough that we share the same awesome physio. In fact, had I not read your book then I probably wouldn't be running the distances that I am now. Thank you for the inspiration that I now have inside me to DREAM BIG, to go for things (that don't just involve lacing up my trainers). I had followed your progress but hadn't really delved into many of the FB posts and when I did I was horrified at the attack on your honesty and integrity. I won't expand on it but just want to say if you remove the inte and y from integrity you are left with GRIT. You, my (as yet not met) friend have GRIT by the bucket load. Thank you for helping me dream bigger than I could possibly imagine.
Robert H P Young
thank you for your wonderful comment and good luck on reaching for your dreams xx
