A 5:35 pace mile 18 up a 250ft incline????
Not too shabby!

Looking at his long/fast activities - they seem to start slow, a dip in the pace chart, then up to the very sustained 6:30 paces. Warming up before dropping the hammer? A little actual running just for a touch of legitimacy, or running to get out of town, before hopping in the RV??
Anyone else notice the towel taped to the back bumper of the RV??? You can see it in the handstand picture few pages back... Is that so little Rob doesn't hurt his knees when's he's riding ???

We will never know what is true running and what is true RV riding. From what I have come to learn of RY, there is no rhyme or reason to assume any trends or routines.

I have never driven an RV before, but I'm guessing it's pretty difficult to keep a consistently low speed. I don't know why they didn't use a bike for this. It would have been a lot more believable.

Take a look at this:

Certainly looks like he hopped in a car, forgot to turn off watch for just a little bit which brought average pace down. So now we see the cropped activity.

That's low-hanging fruit right there, Rojo. Pay him to replicate those 29 miles. You could make it 7 digits of $$$.
Not just this guy, but a lot of posters are pretty free and easy with Rojo's money.

We are coming to learn just how difficult it truly is to drive an RV at a snail's running pace. Dustin is really the forgotten hero for his valiant efforts in attempting to do so. After all, Rob just slept in back. I say that Dustin needs his own RVDRIVERMANUK web page complete with charity donations to recognize his proficiency.
Can someone backup/screenshot his entire Strava?
I can't do it right now.
I noticed that if you zoom in on the map, you can see it follows the road 100% accurate, so the data is clearly doctored.

The ability to consistently drive the RV slow is the only world class talent they had.

Ehh, this Strava account is missing anything useful such as:

-night in Emporia
-big miles in CO
The "GPX" upload is ridiculous too, very suspicious. Probably working on editing the other ones...
Side note, his very first run of the trip is impressive...

I think you are on to something there! I have never seen long stretches of GPS runs be perfect lines. The only time I see perfect lines is when I create my own route like when I visit the USATF to map out my own run after the fact to check distance. (map my run is likely similar- but too many pop up ads)

One thing we can all agree upon. There have never been so many long distance PR's (50K, Marathon, 30K, 1/2 marathon) set right smack dab in the middle of a TRANSCON thousand mile run through the mountains and deserts! Atta Boy Robbie!

Listened to Marathon Talk Ep. 249 to hear what Rob had to say back in 2014 (half way into his marathon streak). Completely telling. Interviewer has a hard time believing what Rob is doing. Should have trusted his instinct. Crazy how a guy who didn't like running running achieved so much. Rob touts his high pain threshold and drive as the simple explanation behind his stringing marathon after marathon. As for staying injury-free, that is simple too -- it is all about having fun. Oh, and he wants to help strengthen the rules around record for most marathons in a year.
Interview starts at ~1:16:00

"but to be honest with you"
He must have said that 10 times during the interview.

Not sure about wiki procedures, but can Dustin be blocked for editing this page? Since he has a vested interest?
