Good that this one is being cleared up. Love that someone on a forum is saying it can't be trusted because it's on a forum. With that grasp of irony you could be an honorary Brit.

RY: Live-Tracking is something that has peaked my interest. I think it’s pretty cool how people can watch where I am via a GPS device that I carry on me, that sends a signal to a satellite and then gets displayed on my website. I love that my family, friends and fans can see where I am. Pretty unique if you ask me.
Are you the guy who has been posing as me on Facebook too? Have a fun life

Maybe you can give some evidence of Rob's professional cycling career? Of his child abuse? Of his 30 minute 10K? Where was he during the video in Kansas?
I am not Rob's manager, his relative or anything apart from a guy who supports him and believes in his abilities.
As soon as I get any evidence for you I will post it for you. Why on earth you feel the need to post details about me is dreadful. I have a family and friends and a life that is private.
Please don't attack me personally or post more details about me as all I am trying to do is give a perspective whether you like or agree with that or not is up to you.
I understand I have I have given some details about myself and that was in the belief of transparency and trust. Maybe others should be as brave instead of hiding behind keyboards
Rob also has a family and wife and she is going through hell reading all the terrible comments about her husband.
Be critical by all means, be inquisitive, be negative if you have to but keep the terrible comments to yourselves. This is only courtesy to me and others who are trying to put a point across.
It seems that the majority of commenters here prefer to be anonymous which for me shows what many of you are truly like. If you put your details on here then people could start to share personal information about you too and that wouldn't be nice now would it!
According to Rob's book which I have read he did suffer terrible abuse and he then left the family home and was put into care. He then met his mentor Peter who took him into his home and taught him how to be a true and proper person. This kind gentleman was an athletics coach and helped Rob in his early days and gave him support financially, in terms of living space and mental support. This is factual and I have checked this with a number of people close to Rob and not just relied on his book.
As I have said numerous times I will post facts and not speculation or BS. These may be facts that have been given to me in good faith and I am relying on the integrity of others here too.
One example was that I was told the tracker was on the RV, I was then later informed by Rob himself that there was a tracker on his shorts. He also confirmed his has GPS watches in use and video coverage and all the media coverage from the film crews.
I know many of you are salivating at the possibility of this being a fraud but I still don't see anyone going out to run with Rob and posting here.
Has anyone...ummm asked this guy about the inconsistencies?
That would kinda clear things up, ya know.
A few excerpts from 113's analyses:
No support crew would ever put up with this crap.
Not sure if someone has posted this in the last 10 pages, but this photo apears to be Enrico Poitschkehttps://www.flickr.com/photos/sibbald/753766618/in/photolist-9vUDFc-mXzPCe-mXzEag-mXzJug-mXzG9p-mXzNAx-mXzQCk-2bvJ2v-bcaNEz-dPzW4f-mo9PZV-goNfTN-goNg6G-fDERUB-mXA2va-jsDoQb-5hm1sx-29Bfyb-kfT4AT-2ais7D-gR4pu1-nqyJvv-4neuSA-ds7hjY-29L7pg-2ajaMd-5zXCve/

Isn't Joanna his fiancé?
Lance Armstrong had a family and wife too.
Rob should have thought about his family before he started cheating.

Why isn't he posting his GPS logs online? Every hobby jogger has a GPS watch and Strava, except this "professional athlete".

Kevin, please. Someone went out to run with Rob. He even made a nice little video about it.

Do you agree Rob is a liar, because he copied this picture?

I don't know about "lies and slander", but LR posters do tend to overreact and conclude that everything an alleged cheater has ever done was fake and they are fat and ugly and poor and a terrible human being who is hated by all.
Rob has undoubtedly legitimately done some impressive ultras. He did compete in triathlons and maybe even was kinda good, although he may have embellished his professional and national status.
Just because someone has exaggerated and cheated doesn't mean that they have never done anything legitimately. On the other hand, just because they've done some things legitimately doesn't mean they didn't also exaggerate and cheat at times.
Thanks for your post. Much appreciated.
While I don't want to divert the primary discussion topic of this tread I feel the need to shed some light on comments about cheating in ultras and the nature of most of the courses. What is apparently happening in this case should not shed negativity on ultras any more so than chronic cheaters in marathons should cause dispersion or doubts on anyone running marathons.
While I can't speak for ultras in the UK or elsewhere in the world my experience in the US is that most races today are held on trail systems that are not accessible to vehicles at all. Yes, there are ultras here on roads but they are far fewer in number than those on trails or other courses that do not allow vehicles (tracks, beaches, etc.). Of the 45 or so ultras I've participated in only 2 or 3 had very small segments where vehicles would have been allowed - those were dirt fire roads and the segments were only 1/4 to 1/2 mile in length total. Certainly, events like this transcon constitute a very small percentage of what could be considered "ultras". Comrades is an exception because it is not only one of the oldest, but probably also among the most well known ultramarathons which I think gives people so inclined more incentive to cheat to "claim" they completed it. However, there are those who cheat even on trails by finding ways to cut the course - but that is difficult in most races because there are manned checkpoints and few alternate routes that would confer any advantage - to "cut" many courses would force the runner to go offtrail which would be a distinct disadvantage in most cases.
Rob has now posted a video outlining how this run is being recorded. Seems there is a lot of data, just not out there yet. While you wait to see it, go run with him. You won't regret it.

By the way, many of Rob's competitors from last year's race are helping him with his record attempt including but not limited to Nancy Bennett, Newton Baker, and Bryce Carlson. Nancy has already done an 80 mile day with Rob that was posted on Facebook. Also ESPN has been out with Rob taping parts of his record attempt.
Any evidence for any of this?

This is the most damning problem for me. Every single mile should be uploaded after each segment run. Time and pace isn't good enough. The Garmins can give cadence, HR, and other running stats that can't be faked if the watch was just sitting in the RV on the dashboard.
Average runners have every detail of even their easy runs online.
The fact Rob doesn't is extremely problematic. This is where one starts with the very basics of tracking and documenting. Cameras and other accounts are supplemental.

No because I don't know if this is Rob or not, I agree it doesn't especially look like him but in this picture the youngish guy at the back does look like him if you zoom in.

You don't grasp what irony is.

As per the video at about 5:08 in they claim they don't have the internet to upload the data? Then how the heck are they posting these videos and blog updates?
When I finish a run it automatically syncs to Garmin connect and Strava. Assume TomTom does the same. Sync with the computer with the charging cable that is on the internet you are using for this video and blog posts if you must.
As is often said, if it isn't on Strava it didn't happen! Heck, Strava would probably even want to sponsor this.
