Has anyone noticed that the medical report said his 5th toe (little toe) was fractured and in Rob's Facebook report of today it says his big toe was fractured. The deception keeps coming.

How far did he run in those five days that he was supervised by the geezers?
if Rob thinks this is over and it will all just disappear under the umbrella of 'bad luck, he got injured' then he's in for a big surprise.
Whatever else people may think of the LetsRun community, we are determined and tenacious and won't stop until every last detail of this fraudster's cheating and lies are exposed.
Following the money is going to be the one thing that really nails this piece of shite. There is far more to be uncovered here and the sleuths are on it as we speak.
Rob, your pathetic little dream is over and your nightmare has just begun.

Boom! He will win in the court of public opinion.
Yep. Afraid so.
And media is hesitant to be too critical because they don't want to take a PR hit as if they're bashing good charity work. The articles in Outside and SI didn't accuse him of cheating. They only reported that questions were raised.
The general public doesn't know the difference between money for "awareness" and money for "research." They think it's all the same.
And even if clear video was released from inside the RV with him riding for miles down the road, most would say, Ah, it's close enough. What's the difference. Running 2788 miles or running 2767 miles. It's all for charity.
The public gives charity work the benefit of the doubt. Lance used this as his shield for years.

Most people don't want to hear about the cheating, specially if they donated. Most of those posters are hobby joggers who are probably hearing about his run for the first time right now. All they know is that he is a "celebrity" runner and has many FB and Twitter friends.

Not this Brit.
He has met a lot of them and they have fallen under his spell. Apparently if you are "nice" you couldn't possibly be a cheat.
As far as they are concerned, he is a super-human runner who can run hundreds of miles a day, and they think the tracker and some photos of his TomTom data prove he ran all he said he did.
They are clueless and simply WANT to believe he's legit.
What is needed is a very clear concise write up, proving he is a liar, including all the evidence you guys found.
Until you get through to his devoted fanboys on his facebook page, he will still be a national hero, getting endless sympathy for a sore toe, then moving to his next publically funded scam

Interesting thought - am I the only one who takes pleasure in idiots being conned? When I read people writing support for Rob (like this fool), it makes me laugh and I love it. I love that he won't stop conning people and his small gathering of fools will actually continue to give him their money.
Does that make me a bad person? I have no desire to protect the stupid from themselves. If someone actually believes this guy's obvious bull shlt, they get what they deserve. And you have to know that stupidity is part of their everyday life. You can't fix stupid - so sit back and enjoy it.

Whoa, such hurt! You should have your mom ask your doctor to adjust your meds.

RY says,
"The run had gone pretty smoothly up until Indianopolis, Indiana, where I started to experience severe pain in my right big toe and the side of my foot. An X-Ray confirmed there was a small fracture and, more importantly, an infection which is not allowed me to walk on my foot properly since."
I don't see where he calls out which toe has the fracture and where the cellulitis is. It hurts but most people can run on a fractured 5th metatarsal. Cellulitus looks like some nasty stuff. Probably forgot to bring clean socks or when they trimmed the tops off his shoes he wouldn't take the shoes off to save time.

Sort of followed him?
They tracked him 24 hours a day for 5 days making Robbie run the distance during that time. Robbie couldn\'t run that much and stopped.
It wasn\'t actually 24/5. And they allowed him to run/ride behind the RV out of sight for most of the time.
They did good work, but it was LRC that brought RY down.
Any bets that he doesn't really have a stress fracture? Not always easy to see on x-rays. ER docs just wanted to get him in and out. "You've been running and walking for 11 hours a day and your toe hurts?" "yep you have a stress fracture, take some advil, take 2 weeks off."
I bet i could go to the hospital right now and get myself diagnosed with a sf.
I was reading Young's post, and all the comments in response to it on his FB page. Does anyone find it odd that a lot of the supportive comments repeat the same phrase "gutted for you"? I did a word search, and there are no less than 14 comments that have that exact phrase, or very, very similar. And every comment is fawningly supportive.
It's already been proven that most of his FB followers are phonies from Turkey. Could he also be using shill accounts as well?
Could Robert Young be Kip Litton on 'roids?
I guess I assumed that the severe pain he was experiencing in his toe would be in the one that was fractured. Seemed reasonable to me...

I agree - he doesn't make anything clear, other than he's using this as an excuse for why he pulled out rather than telling the truth about his inability to run the mileage he claimed. But thanks for coming out and adding to his BS. Idiot.
I bet you can't

They should have got Rob diagnosed with cancer because cancer sells better. What better way to fool the Brits than to fake having cancer? He would be taking in millions.

The apex of disdain towards the eccentrics of the ultra community for any LRC regular. Her FB/webpage is burtal.
BREAKING: News from Buckingham Palace!!!
The Queen is reportedly NOT amused by this whole misadventure.
And Her Majesty also says she is NOT looking forward to the return of the King of Ultra Running:

As a person who almost died from cellulitis, I'll say... nope. I mean, sure, maybe the fracture isn't so bad. Doesn't matter. Cellulitis is no bullshit and something that isn't faked. And totally a reason to stop. All fabrications aside, he's doing the right thing for his own health.
And, like manna from heaven, it totally gave them a storybook out.
There's a bunch of creepy stuff going on with this guy, so it makes sense to look at everything with a critical eye, but every now and then, something is real. "A broken watch is right twice a day."
(in no way am I defending him)
