Thanks Asher got bringing this sham down. Without you his guy would still be RVing if down the road.

It's an out and back
Our hero has put up a video from the start of Thames Meander Marathon 2014.

Unfortunately I can't find any pics or vids of him later in the run. Those finishing around him would probably remember the guy with the kilt. But it looks like Robbie found a gap in the list where he could "finish" 3 minutes apart from both faster and slower runners.

He does not hide it when he thinks the race organisation is lacking. Bryce Carlson, an American ultrarunner who eventually finishes second, describes Young as the most volatile runner in the group, playful one moment, yelling and pouting the next. “He probably ‘quit’ the race at least five times, always making a bit of a fuss, but he always managed to show up at the starting line again the next morning,†Carlson writes in an email,

Wow. Very impressive indeed.
I fear this might a bit complex for the media, but it is extremely well done.
I think you should also state that the RV tracker was provided by Open Tracker and link to them so any queries for that can be followed through. Very nice piece of work.
Have you contacted them to get this corrected? If not, I can do this. I presume any EA registered runner can ask for results to be corrected, even if they weren't at the event?
I agree this is excellent work. You should also state that his clothing was provided by SKINS, but that he found them so useless once he started actually running that he switched to Van Huesen and holey, moldy cotton socks.

No kidding. You're like that other "investigator" guy who steals everything from this board, posts it on his blog and claims it as his work, and then runs over here linking it every freakin page.
I had to laugh at this.
Do you people realise blogspot is just a site that lets you quickly make a page much richer in info than the mess that is LRC?
Do you understand how the internet works?
Us 'lazy millenials' have a few things to teach you 'stupid old farts'...

RYI, if you have the whole book, you might want to factcheck the sections in which he mentions any of the 8 marathons he raced in 2014 or any in 2015. I looked at the Halifax results since the part you posted mentions it. That one checks out. He says sub-4 in the book. He ran 3:53.
I don't have the book. I've only seen the free initial pages in amazon.co.uk.
I don't have the whole book (it's only a couple of $ on Amazon by the way, for the Kindle version), but you can see more pages for free on Google Books (and search for keywords):

I made a post about RY's desert day. I'm not sure I've read every single post here, but AFAIK this is the most concrete cheating data for the transcon.
I need to get a life now, but if Blogger allows access for others to post or someone else wants to help make this a hub for analyses, contact me. That google doc y'all made is great though. Just though this could be a nice format to link off to if people are contacting media, etc etc.

Nice work, thanks for this.

ATTENTION
This is very suspicious: there are two different results for the 2014 Thames Meander Marathon
http://www.swifttiming.co.uk/cgi-bin/list_race_result.php?meet_event_id=360001http://www.runbritainrankings.com/results/results.aspx?meetingid=108079&event=MarMT&venue=Kingston+Upon+Thames&date=23-Aug-14The first results (3:56) are the official ones.
Is it possible Rob has edited the results of the second one? Can a British runner give more information about runbritainrankings? There are suddenly 2 position 11 runners!
This 3:11 is a big outlier for Rob. I don't think there is splits information.
A little bit of background research reveals that the August 2014 Thames Meander Marathon was the last time they ran it as a multi-loop race. He ran it again on 1 November 2014, by which time it had changed to an out-and-back run -
http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/forum/events/thames-meander-marathon/277102.html. Oddly, his time for that one doesn't appear on PowerOf10, maybe the route hadn't yet been verified? There is a photograph of RY on his FB page for the 1 November 2014 TMM but nothing on there for the August 2014 one - but his page is currently being locked down and a lot of his previous claims are now vanishing into the ether. His friend Dustin was a first-time marathonner at the November TMM apparently.

Yes, we do. But obviously you don't understand how a forum works. This guy now got a lesson in what's important: give credits to those who have provided all the material for his site.
Back to 2004 and WORLD CHAMPION ROBERT YOUNG:
This guy has been doing this fraud-cheat-lie-charity scam for a long time.
We also now know that 'bunny woman" is Nancy Bennet…and she is also in on this fraud!
Good progress is being made on the FOLLOW THE MONEY research.
The destruction process is picking up speed and momentum
Where is Robbie? I hope he is not trying to hide from all his fans.
LetsRun.com…Where your fake dreams become obliterated.
Enjoy the process Robbie.
Or should I say…Enjoy the ride Robbie.
Also…Go Racergirl!
I don't really see what's the point of correcting this.
But it would be far more interesting if you could ask them by e-mail on what basis they changed the results.
Did Rob create a fake results list? This was a 2014 race so they should be able to recover this information.
If they are willing to share this information, that would be very damning for Rob.

I have no problem with asking for credit - I agree material should be attributed to the original researchers - which it now is.
I was highlighting the ridiculous assertion that the blog author was "promoting his personal blog".

If he had a plausible explanation to give the list administrators for the changes, there's no reason that information would be "very damning".

There have been tons of people here setting up personal pages leeching off lrc. They even have the audacity to ask lrc to give them more info they can put up.

What plausible explanation could change a 3:56 marathon to a 3:11?
Runbritainrankings probably didn't really check if his information was legit.

A plausible explanation would typically be that the chip didn't register at the mat and he sent in some other evidence that he ran much faster. For this to be "very damning" you would need this evidence AND prove it wrong. The onus is on YOU to find out why it's a fake result (as it probably is).
