So guys, who we tracking on Monday?
So guys, who we tracking on Monday?
Ok i just read this thread for 6 hours straight to catch up, now I'm going to try to sleep for a few hours before putting in a night shift to keep up. I'll be posting all activity to strava in the future at some point, for now I'll just hold onto the data
k thx bai
It will be interesting if they ever update the blog with a description of and reason for the end. I personally doubt it. They probably want this to fade and everyone forget about it.

Thanks, I hadn't click on that. I'm pretty sure that charging % on the right has changed, though, so that seems to indicate that it's not off. It's a 73% right now...but what do I know. For the sake of keeping this thread going, it would be great if it went active again in Dayton w/ a FB update about how RY is pressing ahead despite being in pain.
Gawd, I need to get some work done next week. Please, I hope he quit. Plus, pretty sure laz owns him now. The kind, tough-loving father he never had. In some ways, it's a golden opportunity for this guy to straighten up, but I'm betting he gets back in the RV with Dustin and it's back to reassuring his fans and scheming their next con.
Also, fwiw, I see 64% on the charge right now:

Guess it's on but not broadcasting location.

Did they delete this? I can follow the link and see it but it doesn't come up on
https://www.facebook.com/marathonmanuk/if you just load his main page. Is our celebration premature?

Kevin O'Rourke and Tom Crockford (the correct one) need some scrutiny. We should also look into these charities.
back to rupp and centro I guess. Maybe the poster who is going to the transcon beer mile run? that oughta be fun. hopefully it will be better documented with strava and he will wear a catheter so we can measure the flow.
he shoulda gone to chuk e cheese across the road from golden corral as I'm sure the kids in there would have given Rob the extra drive he needs to get back at it and finish in record time.

Still works for me.
I don't understand why everyone seems to think that this is over. RY hasn't said that it is over, has he? It is still on until either RY says it is over or the time of the current record has been exceeded.

You bet they'll blog about it. They have the injury as their golden excuse. Maybe they'll turn it around and say they planned to run with the toe injury but didn't realize the seriousness of the cellulitis, and then will have to go to the Mayo Clinic or equivalent. They have a vested interest in keeping the con going, and that means appealing to the fans. They won't get us sh1te in terms of data -- we don't exist to them and they will never acknowledge us directly. They will have to address media, but when asked tough questions they will dodge it, say they shared the data and reference the video and photos of their TomTom page they already published, and then turn it on the haters who are trying to steal from the children.
The big question for me is what do they do next? It's going to be hard to pull off record-breaking shenanigans again because they'll be under the microscope from the get-go. Maybe they'll just continue as they have been, but drop the "world record" part of it. Less risky. Either way, they are going to have a hard time keeping the wolves away if they return to this game.
What are the chances he takes Laz or any others on the request for a real sanctioned race?

That's what a separated man also says. Even if his ex-wife bangs another guy.
clock on tracker is still ticking suggesting there may still be life in this saga yet.
Yes, the direct link to the post works but the post doesn't show up on https://www.facebook.com/marathonmanuk/ if you go there directly. That seems odd to me so I am wondering if Rob/his team deleted it.

Rob will have to get a job.
if the gutter press in GB run with this and find out that he has been lying about his early life, faking a record run will be the least of his worries.

C'mon over to our thread. The 12 of us have no friends anymore.

You should give the Transcon a go and see if you can maintain the miles per day that RY was claiming, day after day after day, west of the Mississippi. The effort claimed was indeed exceptional and would only be possible by someone with world class ability which is why the ultralist and team geezer started questioning it in mid May.
For Rob to do what he claimed in those early stages, he would have to have a marathon PR way below what even his fake PR of 2:41 is. He would need to be a solid 2:20ish guy and this is simply out of his reach and is never ever gonna happen. The guy is a hobby jogger - doesn't even look close physically to an elite athlete.
Good night Rob - it's over buddy!
220ish is not world class (for a man at least)

You can track me, but my data loads as soon as I get close to my phone. LOL
