The facebook comments read like Lance supporters in the early 2000's. Nothing will convince them otherwise short of a confession on Oprah.

Are there any live traffic cams in the area?
I've been following the traffic cams east of Indianapolis. A black Chevrolet Spark with an AVIS sticker has slowly passed the cams leading eastwards. It started out this morning and goes at an estimated speed of around 10 mph. It was last observed 70 mi from Indianapolis.

On second thought -- Matt came up short - look, that right rear window is open he could have just sauntered up there with a "yoo hoo, mr marathonman up, you in there?" That was a missed opportunity to be a real LRC superhero.
For me, this is your movie title image, the screenshot that sums this whole absolutely bonkers situation up.
I simply cannot stop laughing at this. He just looks like a little boy way out of his depth who has been caught red-handed and exposed by the old master. However Laz is the absolute hero here in this movie and actually went kind on him and offered him a path to redemption. "He literally gave him the shirt of his back" is Laz's tagline
Rob, will you follows Laz's path?
The thing I notice about he RV is the collection of kid made posters on the back of the RV . Innocent little children he was quite willing to deceive , and who will find out he cheated. That will build them up.
No one needs to want revenge , this kind of sickness will take it's toll.

If this is true, it's par for the course.
The "team's" MO:
-Step 1: Do something ridiculous and stupid for a team trying to break a guiness world record to do; Leave tracker in RV and rent another vehicle or let Rob go out on his own now.
-Step 2: Use lame excuse that would otherwise hold water IF YOU WEREN'T TRYING TO BREAK A WORLD RECORD; "Oh we forgot the tracker" "Oh Rob left early to get some quality miles while we repair RV" "Whoops forgot" or the popular "......crickets....."
-Step 3: Everyone sees through the sham, except those that don't.
-Step 4: PROFIT!!!!!!!!! (for the children)

Contrast that image with the glossy promo pic on his website. Doesn't even look like the same bloke.

His time is well and truly up.... this is becoming a repeat of Rossi but I actually think it will get a whole lot worse for Rob as he seems be guilty of mutiple fraudulent claims.
Plus he has the added pressure of explaining to all those who donated hard cash how one reconciles cheating with inspiring children.
I just want to tell you guys that I have 7 pages from last week I haven't read. While you greedy readers sit there and wait for more posts I will enjoy myself with these pages.
LOL!
Walmart so that they can get some cash wired to them from their sponsors to take care of the unexpected hospital bill. Side trip to pawn shop, etc. Cash on hand is low.
Ok. So I went away for 24+ hours and nearly missed 1000 posts. During the last 24 hours it appears the following has happened. Here is the cliff notes version.1) Rob Young has developed an injury. He has a stress fracture of a toe and cellulitis as shown by his facebook post here:https://www.facebook.com/marathonmanuk/posts/10281494306026482) Laz has stopped following Rob Young as he feels that RY's quest for the record is over and he doesn't want to be responsible for his death.Laz wrote in part,

in the final tally,
I am done because I do not want to be party to putting RY in the hospital.
last night, when he did go, was enough.
having seen his physical condition when we left,
I was afraid he might have serious issues.
the "run", for all intents and purposes, is over.
the required daily average, and his maximum daily potential met yesterday.
it was his second 60 mile day while we were here
and, this time it took the entire 24 hours to get it.
the death spiral was complete.
just to stay on pace he had to match yesterday's effort.
with no rest in between.
and he had to do that every day the rest of the run.
that is out of the picture.
looking at the tracker, he has still not moved today.
it is over.
That leads me to two questions.
1) Is anyone tracking Rob Young now. If he was cheating before, one woudl thnk he'd cheat again?
I emailed one of the guys with Laz and left a voice mail to try to find out.
2) Is RY still going at it?

PS. I'm off to dinner and will probablyl have 300 posts to read when I return.
this thread is good advertising for McD's. I'm totally craving some nuggets with hot mustard now. With a small cone. Not sarcastic. For real.
they're at McDonalds again??

I forget why exactly, but a few years ago I got dragged into a GC for dinner. I was appalled at the fatness of 95% of the people there. It was absolutely disgusting. People were nearly running to the food line to get more food piled on.
I always wondered.
Were people who I saw at Golden Corral fat because they went to Golden Corral or did they go to Golden Corral because they were fat.
EA Sports just announced that they will no longer put Robert Young on the cover of their Running Across America '17 games for the XBox, Playstation and PC platforms.

Mock all you want. Rob is passionate about the truth. And Golden Corral is an All-You-Can-Eat establishment. The Team RY Track has been at Golden Corral for 1.5 hours now, and that's because Rob insists that each team member eats ALL YOU CAN EAT. Not all you would like to eat. All. You. CAN. Eat.
refuels here, puts on 2 stone and then starts whacking out sub 6's again
It's official folks. It's over. Just got confirmation.
