Focus.
I'm glad someone else gets it.
Anyone who thinks we're going to get a data file to look at is dreaming.

Why not?
Can somebody please type up a quick summary of what happened with Team RY taking down the time stamps on the data they posted?
Really dumb it down - treat me like I'm a regular contributor to the Runners World Forums.
Thanks in advance.

It apparently primes the neuromusular system for the run, but unfortunately also appears to shut down all other high level functions of the brain, including those of your whole crew.
That was an issue with the mapping service. Or your browser. On the ground everything was right. As it's always been.
It's probably the same thing that happened out in the desert. Read my lips: Robert will take the time to prove you haters wrong.
That's the issue - It takes TIME to manipulate GPS data - which I imagine they are planning to do, whereas if he'd been posting it every day and was legit, this thread would never have started, as he'd not have been riding in the RV
Rob Young writes an autobiographical book about his life and his ability to run long distances.
He does numerous media interviews on the same.
He is an avid user of social media in order to promote his running activities.
He attempts a high profile, trans-american run which he promotes every way he can.
He asks us to part with our money to support him.
He gets all butt-hurt when observers ask for some evidence of his amazing running feats.

Spot on! In the US many 501c3s allow such behavior because there is little investigation into them, especially when they are run by the disabled "to inspire others" which is an exact quote from one guy's mission statement. A huge amount of money is milked from the unsuspecting in this manner.
One thing I've never understood is why anyone would donate money to endeavors such as this.
If some guy wants to run across America or sit on top of a pole for 100 days or drive from Anchorage to Tierra Del Fuego, go ahead, have fun.
But the spiel about you inspiring others is bizarre. You are doing it because you want to do it.
I donate to charities that I have a personal connection to, or that I believe are doing great work.
The idea that some guy running across the US next to an RV would somehow change my donation habits is laughable.
I have no understanding why the public are paying this goon to go on fancy running holidays, and paying for his kids. Get a job you scrounging sad little man
Amen! Plaid pants. I get so tired of seeing T shirts marathons with scriptures and "running for Jesus" etc, etc. Jesus does not need you to run a marathon and nobody else cares either why you are running. All runners are running for themselves. You are not inspiring anybody. In fact, the more you talk about your running in public the more you are bringing other people down. Especially the ones that can't run because they are obese. So keep your mouth shut and just run your run for yourself!
a lot of silence coming from his 65 or so percent twitter followers

One of the Strava Flybys has replied: "Can't say that I saw him or his RV. I would have liked to though."
What is a "Srava Flyby"?
Flyby is a feature on Strava, it shows a list of people whose routes crossed yours and a link to their activity. You can then post a comment on their activity, look at their PBs and snort contempuously or just stalk them from then onwards ('Follow' them). The listing shows the proportion of your routes that overlapped. Beyond a certain limit they get listed as having done the activity with you, can't remember what the limit is, maybe 90% overlap?
Ok. So our God Robert is doing it all "for the kids".
Truth is, he hasn't seen his own kid (from another relationship) for years.

I can see that. Many odd basement dwelling characters that never see the light of day or experience the love of a woman.
Interesting.
The wife of the boss of the East Sheen Gang (Dustin Brooks) is Dominika Brooks.
She apparently has been a pro 400m hurdles athlete.
She is Polish, just like Rob's wife, and just like one of the CCTV journalists who were following the RV for some days.
Now she's Rob's masseuse.

Neither is RY. You don't get to set your own rules.
