New to this thread...
I read the first post and watched the videos. I don't really want to wade through 18 pages.
Hard to make out most of the photos and videos, but there appears to be two very clear videos of the RV cruising down the road without anyone running.
Has there been a straight forward answer as to why?
The best answer so far has been that Robert Young is a great guy, he's doing this for kids, you wouldn't believe what a great athlete he is, he was abused as a child, he was a world class athlete and/or couch potato, please look at this watch as I wave it slowly in front of your face, repeat after me, Robert Young is not a cheater, Robert Young is not a cheater, Robert Young is not a cheater...
I'd just like to say this thread is brilliant. Thoroughly entertaining. The only thing left is for someone to go on a road trip (it already looks like several people are tempted).
Also Robert Young was recently on an episode of MarathonTalk (a British podcast) and in that he talks about his ridiculous foray into ultra running, starting with 2 marathons in a day. This aligns with the extract from his Amazon book. It is totally unbelievable.
Picturing these guys sitting in a RV driving across the country at 7mph is one of the funniest things I could imagine.
OK here's the podcast interview with Rob - skip to 1:16:00
This thread is the best thing ever to happen to Mike Rossi...lolz
This is the best one yet imo. Trumps Rossi and Litton.

I've never written the acronym "OMG," but OMG. Fasten your seatbelts, we're in for a bumpy ride.

Oh it most certainly is. The joke is on them for being dumb enough to drive across the country at 7 mph.
Are we ever gonna be able to get a thread like this for danus and his 202 mile RV snooze-fest? Seriously. We got one for Kip, one for Rossi, and now one for this dingbat who is doing EXACTLY the same thing quark did at the AOR relay.

Are these idiots only stopping for gas, food, showers and bathroom breaks?
So Rob is credited with running while sleeping in the van at 7MPH? Bahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!

A bunch of us "old fart" ultra runners - and a few young'ngs - are funding a dispatch of two exceptional "old fart" ultra runners to 'observe' Mr. Young and his entourage for a week or so to see if he's the real McCoy.

After this all comes out, we should give them a big trophy for all the effort they put into doing this. Brave souls

Make sure to take tons of pics and video! But don't tell us when you go, they have to be caught off guard.
the question I really want answered is ....
how many miles per gallon do you get at 7mph?

Can someone post the security camera footage on his FB? I really want to see people try to justify it lol.
Someone posted it, but they took it down[/quote
Not true. Look on the left side of the FB page under the "visitor posts" section. The security footage is posted and still up.

It's like watching a train wreck, except of course the train is riding inside an RV, doing 10 miles an hour.
Hahaha. Yes. +1
I really hope one of them was ignorant of RV best practices and took a big smelly dump on day 1, and that it's smell has lingered ever since.

Speaking of which....
Where did CoachKev go? Why didn't he respond to this question? (With all the open questions that he promised to discuss with Rob, why didn't he ask them before he got on a 7MPH van across the country?)
