I am told Rob asked for an additional 15 minutes of footage from the car wash after the rv passed. I have obtained that video, and there are two people that pass by (independently). One is clearly not Rob. It is possible the other is Rob. I have messaged him directly through Facebook to see if he would like to provide any details about his trip through Emporia before I post it. Right now, believers would believe and doubters would doubt, but any details he gives could help one way or the other. Although, the Lebo incident has not been sufficiently explained, it is slightly possible he ran through emporia. I'll let you all know what response I get from Rob (and/or crew) when I post the video(s).[/quote]
This is your chance to apologise for setting this whole thing up Asher. You know you have been rumbled and you should now be humble and lets all let Rob do his running and look at the other aspects post run. Your video is a fraud as you know so you should be gracious and apolgise.
Secondly I'm sorry to tell you all that the mysterious Laz is not with Rob or his team as I asked them directly. Bill Schultz Gary and Ray are currently with him. They have not seen anyone called Laz or who resembles Laz.
Kev,
Where were his 10k and half marathon PBs set and which cycling team did he ride for in which year.
Simple questions you seem totally unwilling to get the answers for. Would take seconds to do so. Why are you not pressing and why is the nice, honest guy you are speaking to not telling you.

CoachKev - this email was posted by Laz to UList:
Kev,
Laz is Gary Cantrell.
After last weeks interrogation of his backstory I dropped a line to a current serving member of British Army who has contacts in the Signals and the Military sporting world. They weren't able to provide hard evidence but did state that a Robert Young was posted to a unit in the SW of England (21 Signal Regiment) around 2002-4, he wasn't World Class at sport but was a competent Triathlete & Cross Country runner.
I'd expect the Walter Mitty brigade can provide exact dates.

I think it's safe to say the folks in the rv probably $h!t their collective pants.
All this time they thought they were talking to a nice bearded old timey ultra guy named Gary (and his wife).
Turn off the fans.

https://www.facebook.com/marathonmanuk/?fref=tsI think the Brit way in their ultra group is to wait and see what happens, THEN tear him apart, as they did with vaz. Believe me, if he's proved to be what I know he is, a fake cheat, that group WILL throw him to the wolves, but not until it's properly proved. I'm brit and an ultra runner and we DO want idiots like this taken down, but with real proof.
Update World Champion Robert Young:
World Champion Swims for Charity
(14th April 2004)
The World Long Course Triathlon Champion, Robert Young, took to the water at The John Warner Sports Centre in Hoddesdon on Sunday 7th March to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Robert completed a 12km swim, or 480 lengths of the pool, which took him around four hours to complete. He has collected over £3000 so far for Cancer Research and upon completion of the event is hoping to increase this figure.
This was the first leg of a three-event charity fund-raiser for the 21 year old from Cheshunt. The next stage is the “Three Summit Challenge†which will see him climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon. Robert has to also cycle between each mountain and is hoping to break the current world record of 40 hours 57 minutes. The final stage is a long-distance run, of which details are yet to be announced.
Robert has completed many fund-raising events, including sponsored runs and swims for cancer charities as well as raising over £1000 for Save the Children. Robert is currently a member of the Great Britain triathlon and biathlon teams and later this year he will be competing in eight international events and three national competitions.
In May, Robert hopes to retain his title at the World Long Course Championships. He is also looking forward to completing more fund-raising events in the future.
Those who would like to sponsor Robert can telephone 07919 444102. For details on the swimming programme or for further information on other activities available at The John Warner Sports Centre, residents can telephone 01992 445375.
http://archive.is/z26ngHow far did Robbie go today and why aren't there any runners with torches following him?
I want to see video of Robbie running with torch runners at night. They can light the way for Robbie and make him feel safe out on the lonely….. dark…. creepy…..scary…..roads …..of the United States…in the pitch black ...evil darkness…of night.
Go World Champion!

If that is the case then I apologise as I was told it was someone called Gary but nothing else. There are lot's of Gary's in the world. I will ask again if it is Gary Cantrell or just a bloke called Gary

147 miles on a treadmill in 48 hours, i'd say thats good running
Great, can it be ascertained where the intercept took place, that would be very helpful for later analysis.
And did they do any discrete monitoring before going over them.

Dean K ran that in 24 hours!
http://www.recordholders.org/en/list/treadmill.htmlWhy is Rob looking at his watch so frequently in the last video? Is it possible a British person may misinterpret our "Rob we just want to look at your Garmin data" that way?

We'll know when Rob links his TomTom data to Strava.
In the meantime, Robs opentracker was at 38.89856900N, 90.02045000W at 12:32 yesterday. 140, a couple of miles east of the airport.

Talking of which, has it been explained why the tracker state summary is blank for his entry into Missouri?

I don't think this adds anything to the discussion thus far. It's clear that RY has running ability. All this shows is that he has run an average of just under 75 miles per day for 2 days. It says *nothing* about his ability to sustain a high mileage on the roads for umpteen days at a time, however.
There's a massive difference between saying somebody 'could' do something and confirming that somebody 'has' done something.
As it happens, I remain open minded about this all, although I admit that the evidence presented so far doesn't do RY any favours. It should be so, so easy to resolve, however.

I don't think posting shorter distance race times shows anything other than the ability to run a fast race but many people are focusing on that.
He is confirming he can run distance repeatedly but doing this live right now

Presumably, though, that if they didn't know that Gary is Laz, then they must have been able to recognise him? After all, you said that: "They have not seen anyone called Laz or who resembles Laz," which is evidence that they know what Laz / Gary looks like. So, why would they say that they haven't seen anyone 'who resembles Laz'? This makes no sense.
I'm assuming Gary doesn't have a special 'Laz' mask :D
Robert Young is a 3:07 marathoner. That's his best verified time. Not bad. I guess that's even a BQ!
