You don't just THINK you ran PR during a run and then go by that assumption with no proof.

Indeed. I can see no real proof he won this European bronze as he claims, other than a post on runners world forum.
2004 isn't THAT long ago. The internet was certainly well used then. You'd think the results would be somewhere.
There's an article saying he was world tri champ, so as he invented that, a European bronze could well be invented too
