I know it's early but let's talk about predictions and updates. There should be some big shifts in power this upcoming fall.

Well, Malone is no longer in the GLIAC. Several teams entering their final season. Early predictions I'll go:
1- GVSU
2- SVSU
3- Ashland
4- Walsh
5- Ferris St
Hillsdale can move up but needs a couple more guys to compliment their top 3. MTU should be solid as well but not sure they have any top 15-20 guys.
Individuals
1- Ngandu Tif
2- Panning GVSU
3- Hall Ash
4- May GVSU
5- Bradley GVSU
Mach can be top 5 though as well. SVSU should get a few in top 10 also.

I'd put Ferris at 4, Walsh at 5.
I think Panning, Hall, and Bradley will all beat Ngandu. SVSU should do very well at conference, regionals, and nationals.
Should be close up front. Ngandu beat Panning by .1 seconds last year if I remember correctly. Of course, with Hall back it'll be interesting. Ngandu and Panning weren't in the race the year he won. Bradley could easily challenge for title on talent but seems to do better in track than xc. And of course, I have no idea about any newcomers yet. So if anyone knows about any new recruits or transfers that would be cool to hear about.

Excellent race last year between those two beats. I was standing right by the finish line. You're right, Bradley is better at track. I believe he was hurt most of last xc season. Nick Hall should do very well, most likely top 5. I'm excited just talking about it!
1. GVSU
2. SVSU
3. Walsh
4. Hillsdale
5. Ashland
1. Panning
2. Ngandu
3. May
4. Hall
5. Komph
GV will win by a huge margin. SV will be very good. So will Walsh. Malone leaving will open up a few all-conference spots, but won't change much in the scoring. Next year though...completely different GLIAC.
Who's going out of the gliac next year?
Hillsdale, Findlay, Walsh, Lake Erie and Ohio Dominican next year if I remember correctly.
Any news out of GLIAC camps? How about coaching changes, is Northwood the only one? The new guy in Midland could be a great hire, he coached national title teams in the NAIA.
Teams
1. Same team it's always been.
2. Some team who thought this was "their year"
3. Below average team who thinks 3rd in the GLIAC means something
Individuals
1. Good runner
2. Maybe a good runner
3. Half decent runner
4. Ehhhhhh
5. Runner who is always DFL at national meets but swears it's his year
Where even is the gliac meet going to be held?
I don't even know what teams are in the gliac anymore

How old is ngandu?

OLD AF
Awfully quiet out there. Some teams have meets next week, so results will statr posting soon.
Malone is gone, how will that affect the other teams?
Coach Lynn left Hillsdale last week, will that shake things up in XC?
Ashland and Walsh have great recruiting classes from the rumors, pendulum maybe swinging from Mich. to Ohio in the GLIAC power balance?
Lolz. Michigan will always dominate the Ohio schools. Get outta here you newb. Go read a book.

You obviously weren't around the GLIAC in the 90's...
Looking at GVSUs updated roster, they look like they pulled in an outstanding recruiting class. However, they tend to RS 1st year runners. Still think it's going to be GVSU, SVSU and Ashland top 3 with a strong race between the top individual runners.
