Why is this
Why is this
Equipment required to play basketball: a ball, a pair of shoes and a court (many free outdoor courts available throughout urban and suburban areas).
Equipment required to play hockey: skates, helmet, mouth guard, pads, stick, puck, ice rinks, money to use ice rinks, and on and on and on.
Black people have better things to do than watch a bunch of toothless canucks in silly garb skate around trying to hit a little black thing. That and all the icing calls which break the flow of the game way too often for anyone with a normal attention span.
For the same reason that there are no black hockey players.
Who cares how many black people there are. How many Asians? Hispanics? Stop worrying about what race is everywhere.
Because you have a sucky TV and can't spot them.
Black make up 2.5% of the Canadian population.
Actually there have been a few.
There are black hockey players (including one on each team in this game, though Trevor Daley is currently injured). Most of them are Canadian.
It is an upbringing thing combined with the demographics in areas that are conducive to playing hockey outdoors (not really likely in inner cities).
Joel MF Ward is a key piece of the San Jose Sharks. Straight out of Ontario, baby!

There is also not one white person in the crowd.
In a crowd of several thousand, it would be pretty unlikely for there to be one person of any particular race/ethnicity.

Going to a KFC or a McDonalds and you'll find the opposite - all black people. Why is that?
