What stories can you think of where an athlete was a bad or alright runner in early highschool/college and ended up becoming world class in the span of a few years?
Any examples? It would be interesting to see how drastic the time drops were.
Prefontaine was running 4:31 mile at the end of grade 10 and in grade 11 ran 9:0x in the 2 mile. Very similar with Meb, he was running like 5:2x in the mile and now look at him
