I am a 17yr old boy training for my high school senior year of cross country. I am very skinny and fairly injury prone. My PRs in the 800, 1600, and 5k are 2:03, 4:38, and 16:29. I am gonna do a Summer of Malmo type of training, but I have never done doubles or even seven days a week.
So my question is how many doubles should I build up to? 4? 5? 6? Would 6 doubles be more beneficial than 4? If so then I have no problem with 6. Or is 6 too much for me and it would be more beneficial to stick to 4? Thanks in advanced.
