Hi, I've ran track my sophomore and senior years of high school. I've never ran in the off season: at all and now I do regret it. My sophomore year I felt good all season because I had played basketball the winter before so we ran a lot. This past season, my senior season, I felt so out of shape. The whole year. I finally was feeling good towards the end of the year but then my legs became very tired. My sophomore PR's: 400m 53.09 800: 2:04. My senior year PR's 800m 2:03.60. I didn't run the open 400 this past season but usually ran 51/52 sec 4x4 splits. I feel like my 800 time could have been a lot better this past season for I had ran 2:08's the whole season until our last two meets. Anyway, with that being said, I will be running in junior college the next two seasons. I want to run the 800 and compete in the Nationals. I feel as if I actually train I can run around a low 1:5X. From what I've stated from above is this plausible? I know I can (in my head) but is it actually possible? Doctor said I'm still growing so I guess that's a plus. Thanks and if you have any tips for this upcoming summer training it would be greatly appreciated! I also was thinking of running the 1500m. I have the motivation to succeed. Also, besides a timed goal I also want to run at a solid division 1 college after my two years at JUCO.
