Hi. I'm a sophomore male in my second year of track. I have ran cross country two times as well. I am better at track than cross country, but my times seem way off. I got to 18:20 in the 5k after a whole summer of 35ish mpw, which was a little more than a minute off my freshman PR, but now in track I ran a 4:48 1600. My 32 record is 10:52, so it looks like I'm more of a speed based runner, but I split a PR of 2:12 in a 4x8 a couple days ago. I woild be supprised if i could go sub 60. I have looked at some other runners times on milesplit and on my team, and in track there are guys I can compete with in the 16, but everyone I have looked at has at least a 40 second faster 5k and faster 800s. A couple guys that I have raced and came within 2 seconds either way have ran 17:10's and as fast as 16:5x, with 800s also faster. I'm not disappointed with my 16 at all (but clearly it isn't great) but I am interested in what I should be able to do based on these times at conferences tomorrow. Thanks for any response
