We are missing a lot of information. A 4:21 miler could run around 25 minutes for 5 miles. However you must keep your mileage high over the summer, work on all speeds, and avoid too much hard interval training or racing.
You must do intervals, but build them up slowly and cut them down the last four weeks before your big race.
If you can find a good sprint coach to talk to, it might be worth your while. Never run anything all out, except on race day. Save the hardest workouts for the day of the race!
Do lots of easy recovery runs. It takes 36-48 hours to recover from a hard day.
This includes your long run, which should approach 20 miles!
