Seriously.
Is "Good Threads, Training Info, Injury Info, Nutrition Info, Other Stuff - CarolinaRunner" an inside joke?
Half the links are 404s/expired. It hasn't been updated since 2005!
Time to remove it or update things?
Seriously.

Why? It looks good and you are the first one to complain in 10 years.

Once you are initiated into the tribe, there is no leaving except for death which I will happily accept.
That thread is everything that was good about the forum. It reminds me why I still visit this site. You complain about that but not the "trolls" and general idiots.
Next you'll say because I didn't mention the marathon, that I must not like marathoners. I didn't complain about pollution either, but that doesn't mean I support pollution. Get it? You are as bad as the trolls for making this non-sequitor argument.
I complained about the thread having broken links everywhere. If it is a pinned thread with useful info, I shouldn't click "nutrition" info and go to a website that no longer exists!
You ask if this site is a joke. Check out the stories on the front page. They contain the approximate writing level of a mentally handicapped baboon.
Here's a specific example from that thread.
Click the links under "Heat Illness", and see how many are broken for this topic in the thread.
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=308471
Search for "Heat Illness".
1 link out of 11 links works...
I only asked if that thread was a "running" joke. Nothing else. I enjoy the main page articles for the most part.

No, this site is a joke
Not a joke, but a lot of the links are broken. Despite that, there is a lot of very interesting stuff in there from old pros and coaches that's worth wading through.

J-O-K-E
very good info in there that could change a beginner into a good runner. It'd be nice for a new version, but who is going to take the time to do that.

Bro, why you gotta be hatin' on baboons? What an insult to be compared to a Johnson.

My sincere apologies to baboons everywhere.
