GF says "No," but guys at gym think it's cool as lots of them do.
Don't wanna look like a middle-age schoolteacher but I wear both glasses and a cardigan sweater once in a while and the comb over would clinch it.

I stutter when typing as well as this subject post indicates.
Just keep your hair short. Benefits are less hassle with haircuts etc. Who cares about losing ones hair. It's beyond your control so let it go.
Are you going to keep shaving it forever?

Yeah, just buy a pair of hair clippers at Target & buzz your hair with the shortest attachment/setting. The short hair looks fine & you'll save a ton of money on haircuts too.
A short but not too short crew cut is your best option. See: Daniel Craig.
Does your girlfriend take your advice on how to get her hair done? I bet "No". (Oh, she may "ask" for your opinion, but that's not the same thing.)
You have a lot of options between comb-over and shaved. No need to get drastic. Start looking at some pictures and take your time deciding on a look._
Which glasses can make a slight difference, too.
A lot of guys are worried about shaving their head -- what if it doesn't grow back? It probably will grow back but it might take a long time. If you don't like the shaved head you might be stuck with an in-between look for what seems like forever.
