Honestly I just had a discussion today about the genetics regarding the 6 toes. Most have operations as babies to remove the 6th toe.
Now what I was told by someone at work was that 6 toes are dominate over 5 toes. Don't know if that's true or not.

Happens pretty common, most of the time they remove them though. Other kids are born with 3 rows of nipples, cleft palates, webbed toes, etc. They're common mutations that are more likely in some based on genetics. Probably not some inbred mutant.
Yes, it is rare that you are dating a girl. Or anyone, really. As for the six toes -- that is quite common -- hardly worth mentioning at all.

It is rare but definitely happens. Like others have said, the extra digit is typically but off when the person is a newborn. Extra digits on hands happens also. It's tied to the sonic hedgehog gene (not even lying; look it up), and this gene is also tied to reproduction. A lot of times, but not always, a person born with extra digits will not be able to reproduce. This is why the trait is rare even though it's a dominant trait. Assuming your girlfriend really does have six toes, she may be infertile. I probably wouldn't bring that up with her though.
