I'm hoping you guys can help steer me towards a training book (or website) to help me train for a marathon. Or if there is already a thread of this sort direct me there?
I've run some reasonable times in the past - low 14 mins 5k being the best - so although I am far from elite (especially these days) I guess you could say I've got better marathon potential than your average marathon runner...
I'd like some information that isn't a basic guide to completing a marathon as I don't just want to complete it I want to train for it and run as fast as I'm able to.
Is there any literature out there I could get to help guide me and make sure I am including the important aspects in my training?
