No. You don't need a nutrition program, you need to just eat healthy and focus on the big picture of TRAINING.
Eat as much whole, unprocessed food as possible, with a good balance of carbs, fat and protein. Your body will tell you better than a "plan" what is best. Experiment with different things and keep what works.

I haven't had a Mars Bar in years.
Only about 30 years out of date. At least you can enjoy a "normal" glycemically-stressing diet with this. Make sure you eat 15 times a day as your blood-sugar roller-coasters.

This is fascinating. How old is that? Seems like a lot of that info is out of date. Crazy to suggest deli meats as a daily lunch.

This (from p. 7 of my paperback copy) is the 66-word essence of "Whole: Rethinking the Science of Nutrition" by T. Colin Campbell (who also co-authored "The China Study"):
"The ideal human diet looks like this: Consume plant-based foods in forms as close to their natural state as possible (“whole†foods). Eat a variety of vegetables, fruits, raw nuts and seeds, beans and legumes, and whole grains. Avoid heavily processed foods and animal products. Stay away from added salt, oil, and sugar. Aim to get 80 percent of your calories from carbohydrates, 10 percent from fat, and 10 percent from protein."
