Hey! I've gotten used to running (rather slowly) in Denver over the past year (elevation of 5300 feet), and haven't really run in low elevation much. I did one run (hungover) in Europe (elevation 1000 feet) and another run in a tropical thunderstorm (sea level), so those are not good indicators, but both were faster.
I will be running a half marathon in Helsinki (elevation of 23 feet), and I am used to running at 5300 feet. Not too sure what to expect in terms of how much easier it will be, or how much faster it could be, and it's making it a bit harder to set a goal time.
Any thoughts in this matter?
