Have a car. Dont want to cross streets. Is there a place i could run straight a mile to 2 miles uninterrupted and I could do it two to three times. Concrete is fine. Thanks.

san antonio is so muggy and sprawlingsay you are thinking about a new gym and want to test one out. most places let you workout free for 1-3 days.i do this every time i visit my sister there and want to do a hard workouttreadmill.or just go to a track and run it in lane 8. better than concrete

I do all of my hard workouts on the track. Wouldn't want my rhythm to be disrupted by rogue drivers or pedestrians. Sometimes I run there from home to warm/loosen up and switch gears to tempo pace as soon as I hit the track.
Tracks are great.
You could also look for a local park that has paved trails. Limited distractions and disruptions is what I look for when I want to go fast.

Find a business park. Go there at 7 or 8 p.m., after most have gone home. Turn right only.
You know, like the clubs that race bikes do. You think you have it hard, trying not to stop for cars? Try going 30+ and accomplish this.
Or else just run on the track. You know, like you should.
