Classic Salazar, he's making Levins run the 1500m as well. That dude always doubles.
Based on indoors, I expect Jenkins to beat Levins and Rupp soundly.

Jenkins is 7th all-time collegiate in-season at 5000m (13:18, just ahead of Cheserek) and 2nd (4th performance) for out of season in 13:07 behind Lawi Lalang's 13:00 and a couple other performances. That makes him one of the top talents we have had. Right now, Rupp is probably not ready for a 5000m, and even by Oxy, he is not always ready. I'd give this to Jenkins. By Trials, Rupp would be ready but I assume he's just running the 10 there.
Tamagno in the 1500
sub-4 equivalent???

True, but Rupp will focus on the 10k, and marathon. This is only a tempo race for Rupp.
Why would you assume Rupp is not running 5000M. Why wouldn't he run it? Even if you do believe he does the 10K/marathon double at the Olympics. If he runs the marathon, Rupp still seems intent on making the 10000M his focus. And if he is training for the 10K he is more or less training for the 5k as well. As for Oxy, it seems in the past Rupp has trained through that meet or otherwise used it as training platform in some way. Winning has never a priority with him in that meet. So, wouldn't be surprised if Jenkins and others beat him.

Rupp will crush them on the last lap to remind them he is the big dog (Farah aside) in the NOP house.

Yeah. Just ask Collis Birmingham, for a starter. ;)
If the pace goes out hard, I'm giving it to Rupp (13:0x)
If it is sit-and-kick, Jenkins will take it (13:3x)
Levins for the win
