Everyone says they want a coach that cares about their athletes as people.
In reality I think top runners just want to win, and my guess is that top coaches are all about winning.
Are there any top NCAA I distance/xc coaches in the nation that actually show they truly care about their athletes beyond running fast?
By this I mean, distance coaches that pay attention to and show genuine care for their whole roster, even the guys and girls who will never score.
And I mean that demonstrate on a regular basis that they truly care about each athletes life...socially, academically, emotionally, etc.?
