I want to get to the top- but I do not want to climb. Through the trails, is this possible?? Also, how's the running at the top??

There's a trail that switchbacks to the top. Pretty easy hike. Lots of trails up near the top because the backside of the mountain opens up into the Gros ventre national forest, but not great for running unless you're training for a trail race or something

Thanks. My goal is being able to (daily) run/jog/trot to the top, which goes from 6,200 ft to 7,800 ft altitude. Then continue a while at the top. If able, that'll be the best strength base I've ever had.
Going to hijack my own thread-
Jackson Hole is not U.S.'s best place to run/train, because???
I could see possible lack of elites here as a reason (if so). But otherwise...???

"...lack of elites here" TO TRAIN WITH...
I mean I was there last December/January and it barely got above 0 the whole time. -15 to -25 every morning. Plus it's kind of an expensive place to live. I'd definitely pick flagstaff, mammoth or Boulder if I was an elite and looking for somewhere to altitude train

I think it could be a great place to train, but outside the weather challenges during the winter, it has:
- high cost of living in a resort town
- remote and not ideal to travel to races/get out of
- lots of tourists and shenanigans during the summer
- the overpowering desire to slay pow and rip the steeps of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. How could you stay a pro runner there if the greatest in-bounds and side country terrain in the US was a tram ride away?
that said, for 6000', you can have a nice pick of other towns in the west that overcome these obstacles in a more manageable way (the skiing is NOT an obstacle; it's a reality).
