This is a very positive way of looking at a race where she was annihilated. Do I hope what you say is true? Yes. Do I think it will happen? Absolutely not.

Nothing against Mary Cain, this is mostly against you. The US will have 25 girls who can run 4:08 this year, some of whom will not run the 1500m at the OT, but they will be able to run that nonetheless.
There are 6 ahead of her in the US right now in the first week of big outdoor races. I would not like my chances.
