On Friday, the shares of Target Corporation Common Stock (TGT) fell 2.52 percent in one day, according to recent reports. In addition since April 19th, the day they announced the new policy, the stock went from a share value of $84.14 to $79.27 per share. That’s a drop of 5.8 percent in 10 days.

The Family Policy institute says they estimate that to be a loss to the company of $2.5 billion dollars…

As previously reported, in addition to signing the “boycott pledge” the group is encouraging people to post on Target’s Facebook page that they are upset about the new policy.

Walmart lost 2.96% on Friday, which is worse than your reported dip (2.52%) for Target's share price. Costco was down 2.19%. This points to a sector dip not a single store dip.

For the month:

Costco - down 6.46%

Target - down 4.07%

Walmart - down 3.28%

Because that's the same thing as making it obvious that a man, whatever his motives, does not belong in the ladies' bathroom where a predator would have an easier time?

Does not seem to have affected my local target here in Northern Indiana. Still as full as it always is on Sunday

I apologize. I went shopping at Target yesterday. Didn't realize I was supposed to boycott it.

I'm baffled at the idiots like you who get their news from sites like "hotair.com". Weird how walmart, costco and other stocks are down. It's almost like it has nothing to do with the restroom policy.... I actually love the boycott, keeps the morons out of target

I've checked out the ladies' restroom at the local Target every day the last weeks and my impression is that there aren't fewer customers there. Maybe a little bit fewer women but that's compensated for by more men.
