A big congrat's to Mr. Consistency, Tyler Jermann for finishing top-American and 3rd overall today at the Pittsburgh Marathon in 2:20:26. While he has not garnered the attention a sub-2:15 kind of time would provide, this kid has proven to be Mr. Consistency over the last 6-7 months:
Chicago Marathon, October '15 (debut) -- 2:22:26 -- 27th overall
Houston Marathon, January '16 -- 2:18:33 -- 11th overall (last-minute OT qualifier)
Olympic Trials Marathon, February '16 -- 2:24:15 -- 36th overall
Pittsburgh Marathon, May '16 -- 2:20:26 -- 3rd overall
Unremarkable consistency around the 2:20 mark for a kid still fresh out of college and, knowing the guy, I'm excited to see how much stronger he can get. Congrat's!
