I can't find these anywhere, anymore. Can we all get together and make Nike make them again?

Probably because they were only made in '81-'84 with a re-boot around '88.
Coe and Lopes were always pictured either racing or training in these shoes.
Because Nike has their collective head up their butt.
The best shoes ever, Nike Terra T/C. The original ones. No reason they couldn't make these again, exactly, only with maybe a 3 percent improvement in the midsole so it might last more than two weeks. Instead, though, they give us ski boot-like slappy stiff shoes like Pegasus, and garbage like Free. (With the rumor the original GoRun from Skechers was essentially a Nike product, proving they again have zero idea when they have a great shoe on the hands, and instead deliver complete garbage).
Oh, the those shoes were SLIP LASTED, too. Remember that? Talk about a load of crap there. Look at their old ads from the late 70s and early 80s, they completely invalidate what they do now. Or else they're full of crap now. So which is it?
I ran in the Terra Trainers back in the day; one of the best shoes I've run in.
This is going to sound crazy but, its not in Nike's or any other running shoe companies interest to make a great running shoe.
Ponder on this for a few moments.
I got a pair for Christmas 1981.
Loved the Terra TC. Closest thing out there now for me is the Brooks PureFlow...

The terra tc and the American Eagle. The two greatest running shoes ever created
Loved those shoes!

I had both. I wonder how light Nike could make the American Eagle today with modern materials.
Have you forgotten about the Air Edge and the Duelist?
I had a pair of these that lasted me over 3500 miles. Almost all in the Berkeley Hills...Oxford and up Spruce to Wildcat Canyon Rd. and up to Inspiration point and sometimes beyond. Great, great shoe!

Nike zoom elite 8?
Wow. This was my 1st pair of flats. 85. Felt like I was running on air. Thx for the flashback. I think Nike would get some play from the middle-aged crew if they brought them back . . . "A come-back shoe for your come-back."
Not to hijack a thread in which I have been a participant, but the Hoka Bondi 4 and Hoka Clifton 1 are the Terra TC and American Eagle for us geezers who loved the Nike shoes in the 80s.
Yes, Clifton 1 was an almost exact match, and Hoka One One discontinued it almost immediately. Too many loudmouths complaining about being too tight. So sad...
They made them at least through1986 ... To answer the OP ...the things insanely fell apart so easily. Basically quick and dirty (junk) ...I saw every pair delaminate ..just peel apart from the first time out of the box.
Had the Terra T/C: Best-ever Nike shoe, to this day.
Had the American Eagle: Killed the Eagle, and was the best-ever Nike racing flat to this point. I even wore them at Bolder Boulder 87, when I had other choices (Adistar). (Wore Mariahs in 1988, a 1982 pair, those were ace when you had Eagles/American Eagles but had a longer race.)
Had the Air Edge: Twice for some reason. Terrible shoe (yeah, I'm dumb). NO comparison to the Terra T/C or American Eagle.
Terra/Terra 2/Terra Trainer: Not the same shoe. Boo!
Have two pair of Go Run (original), and collecting them: Not so great at my age, but proves Nike doesn't know squat any more.
BONUS: Had Nike Challenger. Excellent. Unlike anything else to that point.
BONUS 2: Had Nike Magnum. Excellent. Pretty much the second edition of the Elite in different colors.
Nike Elite 8: Had them. Okay, but can't hold a candle to pretty much everything I said above.
*Nike winflo 4/5...a nice no frills lighter trainer.
