Interesting. I always wondered what it would feel like to sprint as hard as you could for 50m then try to run 9950m.
I just think he had no idea how fast the run goes. I remember doing the same thing before I was a runner, but wasn't over 60-minutes, more like 42 or 44....
I remember once there was a race with Jon Brown (27:18pb) and about 10-12 guys that were sub 32 in a one-off fundraiser road 10K....there was a lady about 250 pounds with a walker right beside Brown on the start line.....kinda looked like she was photoshopped in, but she was there for sure - slightly dangerous....I guess....
