I know no one likes these, but I'm asking for a 1600m prediction based of a workout. I had a breakthrough workout of 8x400 (90 seconds rest) with avg time of sub 68. The splits were 65,67,69,67,68,69,68,67. Would it be fair/realistic to say I could run my avg time 4 consecutive times, so 4:31? My most recent times/PRs are 800m: 2:03, 1600m: 4:38, 3200m: 10:38, all at the same meet. I always felt that I should be able to do better in the 1600m considering my 800m time And also that I always feel I have energy remaining after the 16. I am a junior in hs, somewhat short and very skinny, thanks in advanced.
