So for the last 20 years, I have run 98% of my miles in Kayanos. For races of 10k or shorter only, I wear the lighter weight DS-Trainers. I’m 58 y/o, a bit of a heel striker, and not particularly graceful. I weigh 180 lbs. But I am starting to think the DS-Trainer might be fine for all my miles. I can’t explain it, but the DS-Trainers “feel†better to me now. The Kayanos seem too heavy and make my stride feel slightly awkward. Anybody else go back and forth on these two shoe models from Asics, or have any other insight, helpful or otherwise?
