Looks like he's asking for too much attention. It has blown up around the local media sources.

1. No one running 2:39 should be the top finisher in anything.
2. He gave her her wedding ring? Did she leave it at home? Are they already married? Judging from the article he proposed. Maybe he was so confident that she would say yes that he gave her the wedding ring too so that they did not have to go through with the formal engagement/wedding planning ordeal.
Seems like a cheapskate to me.
Fiancee. You need the extra e since you are referring to a woman.
Class dismissed.
Top RI finisher. much impress.
Being the top RI finisher is like being the tallest kid with the most drier lint in his pocket. who the fvck cares

Fiancée would be word you were trying to correct.
YOU ARE WEL-EFFIING-COME
Hey one lesson at a time. Getting the accent over the e is a minor hassle and I did not feel the OP was worth the trouble.
Leaving out the accent? That just means you're American. Leaving out a whole letter? That's a grammatical Rossi.
I knew I recognized Venable's name from somewhere...Sure enough it was on LRC 6 years ago in a thread:

Unless there they did the vows-thing, witness signing-thing, the marriage is not valid. A wedding ring means hubby-wifey, not bf-fiancee.

Take that stick outta yer ass and you'll feel a whole lot better.
Their marriage will be all about affirming his needs.

Yeah, they aren't married yet, just engaged.
Point is "fiance" refers to a man. "Fiancee" refers to a woman. The OP's subject line including the words "his fiance" therefore led me to believe we were talking about a gay couple. I merely pointed out his error in hopes of keeping posters such as Disco Gary away.
Tattoo man - what time did you finish the race in?

You might not be impressed, but he is still faster than you.
Tattooman is bitter because he said he would give Bronson 1000 dollars if he broke 2:40.
The end of last year Tattooman (Anthony Crudale) "How about $1,000 if Bronson breaks 2:40 and doesn't Rossi the course!"
Funny because he broke 2:40 with a proposal! How'd you do tattoman, or did they not let you run after you cheated at the Cape Cod marathon 3 times and the new bedford half marathon correct?
Otrials08
Firstly, my bad that in the title I put "fiancé" instead of "fiancée."
Secondly, when was the last time I cheated in a marathon? 2005? That's a long time ago. Since then I finished Boston 8 times from start to finish including last year with my PR of 2:45:39. Just ask one of my coaches on GBTC Tom Derderian and Rod Hemingway as well as Matt Pelletier. I DNF'd this year at Mile 9 with tendonitis in my left foot.
Thirdly, The individual in the title I am referring to is Bronson Venable. The one thing we have in common is me (1995) and Venable (2008) are Alumni from Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Fourthly, if you want to make any cheating references refer to Tom Brady and the "Cheatriots."
Anthony
Don't be a dick.

Here's another recent race involving a similar situation like the one you just posted but me on the opposite end when I got cheated out of the overall awards category by the kid who finished 3rd. When I told Don Allison the race director about the DQ he instantly noticed and he gave me the 5th place overall award. Hence, they still haven't changed the results on paper yet.

Get yourself educated, brother.
http://yourteamcheats.comYou thought he was looking for too much attention, so you posted the link on a message board? To discourage more attention?
Do you know how the internet works?
Take a lot at yourself in the mirror before calling other people out. Your past isn't the best but no one called you out or poked fun after dropping out Monday.
