Some fast runners look fast. Some slow runners look slow. Some slow runners look fast. And then there is the rarest category of runners: fast runners who look slow. This Phil Healy girl is firmly in that last category. You'd never guess from pictures of her that she is an 11.5 100m runner. Granted, 11.5 isn't superstar status is the big sprint countries, but it is still a pretty darned fast time.

The 4x4 is one of the best inventions in human history.
What were the splits? I actually studied abroad at UCC - Up Cork!
this has gone massively viral

Crazy announcers!
BEST FINISH EVER!!
KICK OF THE .... EVER!!!!
Real splits:
Yellow - 66.68 secs
Stripes - 59.81 secs
Blue (Finnn?) - 61.26 secs
Best guess is Red was about 9 - 10 secs back at hand off so guessing she ran around a 55 second anchor...

+1
remember this one? Same sort of thing. Amazing how much you can make up in the last 100.
This popped up in my Facebook feed from a friend who doesn't run or follow running.
This clip will probably get more likes and shares from people on social media than anything related to Boston.
Reminded me of this: https://youtu.be/jgRe5Lar4Nk?t=6m41s

That video was awesome! I couldn't help but do an odd mixture of cheering and laughing at the end. The announcers' call was outstanding, too. An instant classic.
That was great, both the race and the announcing.
NBC should fire Tom Hammond and Craig Masback and hire those announcers for Rio.
wow, those other runners are terrible.i give her a lot of credit, but i also credit 3 of the other runners for racing like IDIOTS

This one is one of my all time favorites. Kid made up about 50m in the last 100m to win the 4x4 AND win his team the overall title
http://youtu.be/3AOwmaU1-V0The close by the French girl was awesome but the first few seconds of Germany/Poland was turning me on

A charming young lady. They should recruit those announcers for the pro-circuit would probably be a breath of fresh air and might give track and field better ratings.

Yeah got those splits too.
Was thinking 54, but could be 55. Had just completed a 11.6 100, 23.9 200 double, with the 200 just 20 minutes earlier.
Been seeing posts on other sites, with anons trashing these women. (guys saying that the had run almost a 4:02 1600 in high school (as we know that's a very select group), or 50 flat 400 as a freshman or sophomore (possible but that's a superb time for that age). Handoffs too.
I think the Yellow jersey had already run the 1500 or steeple and Finn had run a 9:54 steeple that day.
