Anyone run in these? They look pretty good and durable, any experience?

Also curious. I've been running in Altras and love the super wide toe box. Looks like Topo is trying to do the same thing, but just not with zero drop. Love to hear others' experiences with them.
Hi there! I work for Topo Athletic and am happy to answer any questions you may have about the shoes. We also have a 30-day money-back guarantee, no-hassle return/exchange policy in case that helps make taking the leap less risky! As others have noted, Topo is known for its foot-shaped platform (wide in the toe box, snug in midfoot and heel), light weight properties (breathable but durable mesh, virtually seamless construction), and low heel-to-toe drop (ours range from zero to 5mm) to help encourage your body to move naturally.
We just launched the Ultrafly, which is a great introductory model to our brand!

Topo gets high marks in durability, but it all depends on how you run and what you're running on. If for any reason they wear prematurely (less than 400 miles), Topo will replace them.
Just went for my first run in the Ultraflys--a six miler that's 10 days out from a marathon. So…while I was a little stiff and heavy, the shoes felt pretty good and I don't think it will take that long for me to get used to the 5mm drop. I'm more accustomed to a 10+ drop for road.
I also wear the MT2 for trail running---love them. They have about 150 miles on them and feel great for 4-5 mile runs.
Glad to hear you were able to try out the new Ultraflys so soon after your marathon! I think most people are surprised at how quickly they adjust to the 5mm drop -- much less jarring than going straight to zero-drop. I too am a huge fan of the MT-2s. Since it's a hybrid shoe, I tend to run on the roads with them quite a bit as well! Thank you for your feedback!
Any chance Topo shoes will be available in Europe?
I've running topos and liked them until my Achilles decided zero drop was a no go.
If u can handle that, give them a shot as they are pretty nice.
Topo shoes are currently available in some European countries, which you can find here: http://topoathletic.com/where-to-buy#international-distributors.
We definitely recommend transitioning gradually to a zero drop. We only make two models of running shoes with a zero drop, the rest are between 2 and 5mm. Which shoes did you try?
Any chance of updated colors coming any time soon? Looks like you can get them in any color you want, as long as it's black :-)
Like my topos a lot, they're like a better made version of altras. Much firmer and more responsive, the flylite is a great shoe for tempos or just as a light responsive shoe. Altras to me are often sloppy fitting and very mushy under foot, topos are much more dialed in but still offer the wide fit, and feel like a real midsole underfoot.
I would love to try Topo shoes. However, I prefer to try on shoes, and find the size that I need before I buy.
Love the Topo shoes, on my second pair.
Only wish they still made the split toe shoes.

My MT-2 are blue. All their models come in multiple colors, although they do tend to be dark, which I like.
I like them a lot. Fit a lot like Altra, but I like the Topo feel better.
Hi Kristine,
one question:
I am used to wear Vivobarefoot shoes EU size 40.
I would like to know if Topo Athletic shoes have the same type sizing as Vivo.
Warm regards,
