It would be awesome if Uceny got a medal from that race.
Uceny would have needed to vag up and actually at least jog to the finish.
Who?

And Rowbury wasn't with Salazar then was she?? Hell before it's all said and one Uceny may be your champion even though she was a DNF.
Everyone just assumed Bulut was dirty. In the WTW last week, we commented on how it was odd she hadn't been upgraded to 2012 gold yet. The IAAF clearly didn't want to do that. Does anyone know if this ban will impact her 2012 silver/gold.
And the mid-d emailer to us last week who just assumed Bulut was already busted gets an early birthday present.

Or maybe not. Nothing is official here. Here is an English language article on the affair.
http://www.athleticsweekly.com/featured/gamze-bulut-reportedly-investigated-for-doping-39988/"Following a request for further information after the Turkish media reports, the sport’s world governing body released a statement which read: “The IAAF is not making any comment on doping matters under investigations or under result management"
Turkish newspaper Hurriyet is reporting that Gamze Bulut has been suspended for irregularities in her biological passport

So if the whole field was dirty and Uceny was a very strong contdender going in (if not a favorite), what are we supposed to think?
Dear fred, since when is Slovakia a "dope country"? When was the last time a Slovakian was busted? Hell just name a banned Slovakian runner.

Sorry, Ceplak is from Slovenia not Slovakia. Where was the 800 meter record holder from?

Look at Morgan's muscles. It's not just her name that is androgynous.
Video of Shannon Rowbury talking about the "interesting cast of characters" in the Olympic Games 1,500 earlier that day.

It's hard to think of a more obvious case.
