Now apparently, it's only a temporary logo. This is what the LA times says, "If LA 2024 succeeds in its bid, a subsequent organizing committee would create another logo for the Games themselves."

1) Kind of small chested for an LA girl.
2) Nothing will be as bad as the sex act that was the 2012 logo. I still can't believe that was allowed. Some guy must have submitted the 2020 logo as a joke and no one picked up on it.

I really like it!
Meh. I get it. "Los Angeles" is the city of angels. And California is renowned for sunshine. But meh. When I first saw it, I thought it was Tinkerbell.
If they really wanted to represent L.A., they could've used a can of spray paint, a tattoo, or a pothole.
It is pretty good but the person looks like a diver.
I would prefer a track runner image but possibly I am too biased.
I like wings a lot. In fact, I have three art pieces in my home of the greek goddess of victory.
I like the connection to the city of angels but it's too confusing to anyone with a handle on mythology and religious symbols.
Is it an angel? Or is it the goddess of victory? But of course an angel for the City of Angles. But it's an Olympiad so why isn't it the Greek Goddess?
Hair splitting, I know.
Better than the LA Live stripper pole angel, but also very similar, like they didn't put much thought into it.

It is standard for the host city to select a different logo for the games once selected. Tokyo had a nice floral wreath logo for its bid, and then got into all sorts of trouble with the official logo selection.
My impression is that the bid logo often focuses on the city itself, while the actual games logo is a little more "inclusive".
I'd bang her out
I like it a lot. Lets hope if LA wins the games, they schedule the marathon for the morning. This is the best olympic logo in years.
I like it!
Really though, anything after The nasty 80's logo that Londkn used in 2012 is a win. I mean that thing was ridiculously stupid
*sees rainbow fairy in logo* "HA GAYYYYY"
I think the logo isn't bad.
My favorite so far is the Paris logo, a combination of the Eiffel tower and "24":

Do you believe the Olympics can come to LA?
If you believe, clap your hands!

Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
