There are lessons to be learned from King's consistency. He does a lot of VERY slow training runs and always seems to be fresh on race day. He's had an incredible career as an all-surface runner. Makes you wonder what his potential would have been had he just stuck with the roads (my guess is that he wouldn't be all that much faster, though)
Max is so tough that he.could even coach Hadley to finish a marathon.
How about Tim Young one spot ahead of King in 2:17:09. Guy has only run 2:14:40 and 1:04
