Bobby Curtis is about 10-15 secs off the lead pack
crap.
Yes--but ironic because Goucher is in it but the NBC guys haven't mentioned her at all. Isn't that weird?

I read somewhere that Ritz weighs 20 lbs less than Rupp. Don't see how that's possible watching them on tv.

Why would Des wear black on a day like this?
Cuz she a badass
That's a second commercial break in under 7 minutes. Terrible.
Idiot promo guys at Brooks don't understand heat! Not thinking of the athletes.
Sub-mageddon for worst commercial shown during these trials.

Desi has a big smile on her face and was just laughing at something...
She was probably laughing at how she's gonna pour on speed and break the field after the halfway point.
Gollum, I mean Desi Linden, for the win.
The British commentator is the great Tim Hutchings (usually at Eurosport) - the best Track and Field t.v. commentator you could ask for.
Des looks better than any runner in either race. If she's been in Orlando the last few weeks, this is nothing.
I just googled Renee Baillee, the blonde running right behind Des.
I'm not sure which she likes more, marathon or Crossfit. I'm not sure that I care.
Holy crap is she ripped.
Why are mentions of who is leading so infrequent? Chelanga, Puskedra, and Estrada got/get no mention as they led/lead. I estimated a stretch of about 15 minutes where no leader was named.
And why can't we get the update of all the runners and places as they pass through key points in the race. They do this in the Olympic marathon. And I still am waiting for those hovering identifying pop-ups like they have in NASCAR.
And like another poster said, we had to wait forever for a split screen again!
The technology is there. Use it!
On the positive side, can't wait to see a great race with so many possible runners making the team. Go Meb! Go Tapia and go Estrada! Represent Salas!
If Saladbar doesn't DNF I will reveal my govt name
Hopefully we\'ll see the future of US Distance Running ... not the past:
- Rupp
- Chelenga
- Curtis

Des's shorts keep riding up...
And how does that make u feel?
Let's get some last mile predictions rolling.
It is amazing. But also why don't they show a leader board? Are the graphics down? Can't they run a script at the bottom of the screen?
