Hi. Currently I struggle with understanding what pace I should run for an easy run. I always feel as if I'm going too slow. My current 5k time is 18:00 and I average my easy runs at 9 minute miles. Is this too slow? Should I speed up? I just want to be training as effectively as possible and I don't really know if I am. I'm 18, been running 6 months, and I'm getting ready for this current track season on 40 mpw, if that helps at all.
